[The word “Holidays” in this heading should not be capitalised.] Any reference in any law to a public holiday shall be construed as a reference to a public holiday referred to in section 1. The Public Holidays Act, 1987, is hereby repealed. This Act shall be called the Public Holidays Act, 1990, and shall come into operation on 1 February 1991.1. Public Holidays
