NOTIFICATION OF REGISTRATION OF MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT
AND OTHER OFFICE-BEARERS PENSION FUND
AND OF APPROVAL OF RULES OF FUND
It is hereby made known for general information that the Members of Parliament and
other Office-bearers Pension Fund has been registered by the Registrar ofPension Funds
under section 4 of the Pension Funds Act, 1956 (Act No. 24 of 1956) and that the rules of
that Fund and the amendment thereon, as set out in Annexure A and B hereto, have in
accordance with -

(a)

section 5 of the Members of Parliament and other Office-bearers Pension Fund
Act, 1999 (Act No. 20 of 1999) been approved by the National Assembly; and

(b)

section 12 of the Pension Funds Act, 1956 (Act No. 24 of 1956) been approved by
the Registrar of Pension Funds.
