ELECTORAL ACT, 1992: GENERAL ELECTION
FOR LOCAL AUTHORITY COUNCILS:
PUBLICATION OF LISTS OF C ANDIDATES

In terms of section 60(1) of the Electoral Act, 1992 (Act 24 of 1992), as
applied by section 68(1)(a) of that Act, and for the purposes of the general
election for members of local authority counci ls to be held on 30 November
1992, I December 1992, 2 December 1992 and 3 December 1992, the
following particulars are hereby published by the various returning officers
of the local authority areas mentioned in Column I of the Schedule hereto:
(a) in Column 2 of the said Schedule, each political party taking part in the
said election;
(b) in Column 3 of the said Schedule, the list of candidates as drawn up by
each such political party in terms of section 68( I)( a) of the said Act, and
which candidates have been declared duly nominated as the candidates
of that political party for the said election.
