ANNOUNCEMENT IN TERMS OF ARTICLE 32(8) OF THE
NAMIBIAN CONSTITUTION OF CERTAIN APPOINTMENTS
In terms of subarticle (8) of Article 32 of the Namibian Constitution, I heteb'J
announce that I have under the powers vested in me (a) by subarticle (4)(a)(aa) of the said Article 32, on the recommendation of
the Judicial Service Commission appointed (i) with effect from 21 March 1990, HANS JOACHIM BERKER
as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Namibia;
(ii) with effect from 8 March 1991, GERT JOHANNES CORNELIUS STRYDOM as Judge-President of the High Court of
Namibia; and
